惠州在秦时属南海郡,梁时为梁仕郡,隋唐时称循州,五代南汉时(公元917年)称为祯州,宋天禧五年(公元1021)因避太子赵祯讳,改称惠州。

  广东祯州集团有限公司起始于1997年,是从事农业产业化经营的省级农业龙头企业、省民营科技企业、全国农产品加工业示范企业、惠州市民营百强企业,注册资本5000万元人民币,企业资产近2亿元。公司组建以来,与华南农业大学、华南理工大学、广东省农科院、天津科技大学、香港大学农业研究所和澳大利亚农业部合作,针对惠州梅菜和广东荔枝农业资源,开展科研与市场开发,加工出安全、营养、健康、方便消费的现代食品配送到泛珠三角、东南亚及欧美国际市场。

  集团全资子公司惠州梅菜产销有限公司成立于1997年12月,注册资金300万元,主要从事梅菜种植、加工、销售的出口加工型民营企业。公司下设梅菜加工厂、腌制加工场、销售门市、流动销售车,自办无公害惠州梅菜种植示范基地。2001年公司与华南理工大学联合开发的“低盐传统风味即食梅菜”项目,列入国家级科技星火计划,成果通过了省级鉴定,产品填补了市场空白,产品参加2001年中国国际农博会展出,被授予“名牌产品”称号。公司严格按国际通行的HACCP规范,以安全、营养、卫生、方便消费为导向,将惠州农业资源优势转化为经济优势,现已开发出梅菜鲮鱼和扣肉罐头、即食、即用精加工梅菜产品10多个品种,年加工量3000吨,产品主要销往广州、深圳、东莞、佛山、中山、南海等泛珠三角国内市场和东南亚及欧美国际市场。公司在激烈的市场竞争中不断增强企业的应变能力和竞争实力,取得了良好的社会效益和经济效益。 “祯州牌”梅菜被评为广东省名牌产品,通过了农业部无公害农产品认证,“祯州牌”商标被认定为广东省著名商标。

  2000年12月祯州集团全资注册广东荔枝集团有限公司(香港),投入数千万元于荔枝产业的科研、技术、市场与品牌,至力于打造一流“丹荔 DANLI”荔枝酒国际品牌,将千年文化历史的广东荔枝推向全球。“丹荔 DANLI”荔枝酒采用千年母树品种“仙婆果”荔枝,与法国杜比耐特葡萄酒研究所合作,依据不同的工艺,酿造出高档荔枝冰酒、干白、威士烈酒、白兰地等不同口感、不同风格的系列荔枝酒,含有人体所需的17种氨基酸和多种矿物质,既有高雅的品位,又有广东荔枝独特风格及千年荔枝文化内涵,产品填补国内外市场空白。与华南农业大学联合开发升华干燥荔枝王,2002年列入国家级星火计划项目,科研成果通过了省级鉴定。产品选用惠东名优特产——“仙婆果”荔枝为原料,采用最先进的升华干燥技术(真空冷冻干燥)制作而成,产品保留了鲜果的营养成份,是纯天然健康食品,产品质量与研制技术达到国际先进水平。

  As an ancient city with a history over two thousand years, Huizhou had different names in different periods of history, such as Nanhaijun, Liangshijun and Xunzhou; it was given the name of Zhenzhou in 917 AD and which was changed to Huizhou in the year 1021 AD in the Northern Song Dynasty (960 AD - 1127 AD).

  Guangdong Zhenzhou Group Co. Ltd. started operation in 1997; it is a leading provincial level agricultural enterprise undertaking the agriculture industrialization, a private technological enterprise of Guangdong Province, a paradigm enterprise in the processing industry for agricultural products in China and one of the top one hundred private enterprises in Huizhou City; the company has a registered capital of RMB 50 million and its enterprise assets is nearly RMB 200 million.   Huizhou Meicai Production & Market Co., Ltd. - a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, was established in December, 1997 with a registered capital of RMB 3 million; it is export-oriented private enterprise undertaking the processing with the main business scope covering the plantation, processing and sale of Meicai. The company is consisted of the Meicai processing plant, curing processing space, sales outlet, mobile selling vehicle and the pollution-free demonstration base of Huizhou Meicai plantation established by itself. Low-salt instant Meicai which has been developed by the company in coordination with the South China University of Technology in 2001 has been listed as the National Spark Program of Science and Technology; the accomplishment has passed the provincial level certification and the product has filled up the market gap; the product was awarded the honor of "Famous Products" when being exhibited on the China international Agricultural Fair in 2001. In strict accordance with the prevailing international HACCP practice and under the guidance of safety, nutrition, health and convenience for consumers, the company has turned the advantage of agricultural resources in Huizhou into the favorable economic conditions and has developed finely processed Meicai products such as the canned Meicai cirrhinus and steamed pork, as well as more than a dozen varieties of instant Meicai products, the annual process capacity is 3,000 tons; the products are mainly sold to domestic markets in Pan-Pearl River Delta, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan and Nanhai, as well as international markets in the Southeast Asia, Europe and America.   In December 2000, Guangdong Zhenzhou Group Co. Ltd. registered a wholly-owned subsidiary - Guangdong Lychee Holdings Ltd. (Hong Kong), and tens of millions RMB yuan have been invested for the scientific research, technology, marketing and branding of the lychee industry to create a top international brand name of "DANLI" and bring to the world the Guangdong lychee with a cultural history of a millennium. Xianpoguo (Goddess Fruit) lychee borne by the variety of millennium mother tree is adopted for DANLI lychee wine; in co-operation with the Dubernet Wine Institute from France and by adopting different technologies, a series of lychee wines with different taste and style are brewed, such as the high-grade Lychee Ice Wine, Dry White, Strong Whisky and Brandy; they contain 17 types of amino acid and diversified minerals which are necessary for human body. They have elegant tastes, as well as the unique flavor of Guangdong lychee and thousands of years’ cultural connotations of lychee; the products have, therefore, filled up the market gap of the market both in China and abroad.
